Single-phase or three-phase: how to choose
The power of the wallbox must be within your meter's capacity, not the car's. Charging faster than your home can supply will only trip the circuit breaker.

If you have a 3 or 4.5 kW domestic meter, single-phase is the choice: three-phase would offer no advantage and would require a change in supply.
What you need in addition to the wallbox
- Type 2 charging cable. Only needed if the wallbox or public charging station does not come with a cable. Our 5-meter models cover 7 kW single-phase and 22 kW three-phase.
- Support pole. When there is no wall to mount the wallbox – for installation in a yard, driveway, or parking lot. Designed for one or two units.
- Bidirectional meter. DIN rail mounted with RS485 Modbus-RTU output: this component is required for load balancing functions, which prevent disconnection when other appliances in the home start up.
Installation and assistance
Wallboxes and charging stations require the intervention of a qualified electrician and a dedicated line with adequate protection: these are not products to be connected to an existing socket. If you have doubts about sizing, differential protection, or compatibility with your system, write to us before ordering or ask for a quote.
