AlphaNET ethernet network switch
The new AlphaNET network switch series has been developed for installation in security and CCTV systems. In addition to the traditional Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) and Gibabit (1Gbps) speeds, they integrate new features depending on the models.
The " PoE Watchdog " feature is designed to detect a PD (Powered Device) malfunction that has caused communication to stop. The function reboots the hardware by removing and restoring power. If the connected PD absorbs energy but does not generate data traffic, it will be restarted automatically. The "CCTV" mode is actually a pre-configured VLAN (not user customizable) that prevents all communication between the down link ports. This mode limits communication to 10 Mbps to increase stability and increase communication distance up to a maximum of 250 meters.
