📐 7.3 kW single-phase (230 V, 32 A) │ 6 m Type 2 cable │ IP55 / IK08 — 🔧 Installation difficulty: 3/5 │ 🎯 Ideal for: homes with single-phase supply, car parks, B&Bs and small businesses

✅ Eligible for the 2026 Domestic Charging Station Bonus

The FoxESS A7300P1-E model is on the GSE list of charging devices with Dynamic Load Management (October 2026 update), a requirement for accessing the MIMIT grant.

  • 💶 80% grant on purchase and installation: up to €1,500 for resident individuals, up to €8,000 for condominiums
  • 📅 Installation completed between 26 June and 31 December 2026
  • 📝 Application submitted via the Invitalia platform by 31 January 2027, on a first-come, first-served basis until funds run out

The bonus cannot be claimed by companies and sole traders and cannot be combined with other incentives for the same expenses. The model must be on the GSE list valid on the day of application: download the list updated at the time of submission.

👉 Another FoxESS model eligible for the bonus: the 7.3 kW wallbox with Type 2 socket A7300S1-E.

FoxESS A-Series 7.3 kW single-phase wallbox with OCPP and integrated Type 2 cable

On a single-phase supply, AC charging is limited to 32 A: this charging station delivers it all, 7.3 kW at 230 V, and with the dedicated FoxESS meter manages it without tripping the limiter thanks to dynamic balancing. Compared to the base version of the same series (A7300P1-E1), it adds the OCPP protocol, which is used when charging needs to be connected to a management or reporting platform: company, accommodation facility, condominium. The 6 m Type 2 cable is fixed, so no separate cable needs to be purchased.

Technical analysis and benefits

  • ⚡ 7.3 kW on a 230 V single-phase line with 32 A: the maximum deliverable in AC from a single-phase wallbox, about double the 3.7 kW of a 16 A home socket charge.
  • 🔄 Dynamic load balancing: with the FoxESS meter connected via RS485 (not included), the charging current adapts in real time to the home's consumption within the set threshold.
  • ☀️ Charging from solar: the charging station can directly use excess solar energy produced by the system.
  • 🔐 Three start modes: Plug & Charge, Mifare ISO/IEC 14443 A RFID card, and FoxESS app, with charging reservation from the app.
  • 🌐 OCPP 1.6J / 2.0.1 for integration with management and billing platforms, useful if the charging point needs to be reported to employees or customers.
  • 📶 Connectivity: Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi included, optional 4G module.
  • 🛡️ Safety: integrated detection of 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC leakage current (IEC 62955), over/under voltage protection, overcurrent, ground fault, overvoltage, overtemperature, tampering and PEN loss protection. IP65, IK08 body, salt spray and UV treatment, operating from -30 °C to +50 °C.

🔍 Expert Advice:

The first thing I ask in the shop is the power allocated in the bill. Most homes have a 3 kW contract, and 7.3 kW charging is more than double. There are two ways to make use of this charging station: increase the contract to 6 kW or more, or add the FoxESS meter and activate dynamic balancing, so the charging only uses the power the home has available. On the electrical panel side, thanks to the integrated FoxESS 6 mA DC detection, an RCBO of type A 30 mA (230 V / 40 A) is recommended as external protection, instead of a type B residual current device, which costs significantly more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this charging station eligible for the 2026 Domestic Charging Station Bonus?
Yes. The A7300P1-E model is on the GSE list of charging devices equipped with Dynamic Load Management (October 2026 update). The grant covers 80% of the purchase and installation costs, up to €1,500 for individuals and €8,000 for condominiums, for installations completed between 26 June and 31 December 2026. The application is submitted via Invitalia by 31 January 2027 and is first-come, first-served: it is advisable to submit it as soon as the installation is completed.

Does my car really charge at 7.3 kW?
Only if the onboard charger accepts 32 A single-phase. Many electric cars do, but some models stop at 16 A single-phase even if they reach 11 kW on three-phase: in that case, the charging station adapts to the vehicle's limit without errors. Check the "single-phase AC charging" entry in the car's data sheet.

Is an external residual current device needed if the charging station has integrated protection?
Yes. The 30 mA AC + 6 mA DC detection is integrated, but an upstream residual current protection must always be installed: FoxESS recommends a 30 mA, 230 V / 40 A type A RCBO, with a 6-10 mm² cable. Local regulations prevail: the installation must be carried out by qualified personnel according to CEI 64-8.

What is the difference with the A7300P1-E1-S?
Same power and same 6 m cable. The E-2 has the OCPP 1.6J / 2.0.1 protocol and the optional 4G module, both absent on the E1: if charging needs to be managed by an external platform, the E-2 is required.

Changed your mind? Here's what to do

If you want to return your order, we're here to help. You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery, without having to provide any reason.

Right of withdrawal (within 14 days)

The deadline is 14 days from delivery. If the order includes multiple items delivered separately, the deadline starts from the delivery of the last item.

The 14 days are calculated in calendar days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. If the last day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.

How to exercise it: Initiate the request from the dedicated function in your account: https://account.oniroview.com → Orders section → "Manage" → "Request Return". The withdrawal is validly exercised at the moment you send the online request; it is not subject to our prior authorization.

  • Return: You must send the products back within 14 days from the date you notified us of the withdrawal.
  • Refund: We will refund you within 14 days of the withdrawal notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof of their shipment, whichever occurs first.
  • Full withdrawal (you return all products in the order): 100% refund of the price plus standard outbound shipping costs. If you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard one at the time of the order, any supplement is not refundable.
  • Partial withdrawal (you return only some products): refund of the price of only the returned products; outbound shipping costs are not refunded. If the order benefited from free shipping due to reaching a threshold and the partial return causes the value to fall below that threshold, the corresponding shipping cost will be calculated and deducted from the refund.
  • Return costs: The direct costs of return are borne by the customer.
  • Diminution in value: You are only responsible for any diminution in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. In such a case, we will deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the ascertained lost value.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 59 of the Consumer Code, withdrawal does not apply to:

  • goods made to measure or clearly personalized (e.g., cables cut to size, custom configurations);
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygienic reasons or health protection, if unsealed after delivery;
  • digital content supplied on a non-material medium, if the performance has begun with your prior consent and acceptance of the loss of the right of withdrawal.

Outlet Items: Items in the Outlet category are sold as final sale and are not returnable.

B2B Sales: The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts concluded with customers holding a VAT number.

How to ship the return

Once the request has been submitted, send all items to: Oniroview, Via Piave 17, 95129 Catania (CT), Italy.

  • Pack carefully and use secure, tracked shipping: products lost or damaged during return transit cannot be refunded.
  • To protect the original packaging, place it in a second box when possible. Do not apply labels or adhesive tape directly to the product's original packaging.
