Keystone, the modular system that simplifies connections

Perhaps you have never heard the word keystone, at least not when referring to a home wiring system. However, you should keep it in mind if you need to install a modular connection system in your home that, in a single outlet (port), allows you to insert different connections, transforming what might appear to be a simple "electrical outlet" into an intelligent and flexible connection.

Let's take a practical example. In your living room, you have a smart TV that certainly needs to be connected to an electrical outlet, must be connected to the internet (if it doesn't connect to Wi-Fi), and also needs to be connected to an antenna to receive the video signal. To do this, three different cables are needed, which are usually connected to three different outlets, for which you will need to make three corresponding holes in your living room wall, behind the television. Keystone systems, on the other hand, allow multiple connections to pass through a single outlet simultaneously.

The system consists of adapters, modules and covers.

Another thing to keep in mind? It is a flexible system in that, by changing the layout of your environment, you will only need to change the modules that are part of your port to find the new and most suitable configuration.
