Bathroom lighting: the shower spotlights give style and functionality

Every room where lighting needs to be installed has its own characteristics and requirements. Think of a bathroom and the humidity that often builds up inside it, and in particular, think of even more specific environments, such as the inside of a shower or a sauna, inherently humid environments. The spotlights placed within them must follow specific guidelines to ensure proper lighting, but also to function safely and maintain performance over time.

In this case, we're talking about the protection index and insulation class of the lamps, which must certainly be different from those you would use for the rest of the house. Specifically, we're talking about insulation class III and protection degree IP65. What do these terms mean?

Insulation class III assures us that the lamp is completely insulated, allowing us to place it near water sources without any worry. The IP65 protection degree certifies that the lamps have a waterproof structure, which also prevents dust infiltration and, in the case of structures near the sea, even sand and salt spray.

Regarding the types of lamps that can be installed in spaces such as bathrooms, saunas, or other humid environments, these are primarily spotlights that can be recessed into plasterboard structures, thus creating your perfect environment for a bit of relaxation, also playing with light, which can be warm or white, and which, thanks to the dimmer, can be more or less powerful—you choose.
