Each room where lighting is to be arranged has its own characteristics and needs. Think of a bathroom and the humidity that is often created inside it and in particular think of even more specific environments, such as the inside of a shower or a sauna, humid environments par excellence, the spotlights that are placed inside them must follow specific guidelines, to ensure the right lighting , but also to operate in total safety and maintain performance over time.
In this case we are talking about the protection index and insulation class of the lamps , which must certainly be different from those you would use for the rest of the house. Specifically, we are talking about insulation class III and degree of protection IP65. What do these terms mean?
Insulation class III gives us the certainty that the lamp is completely insulated and this therefore allows us to keep it close to water sources, without any concern. The IP65 degree of protection certifies that the lamps have a waterproof structure, which also prevents the infiltration of dust and, in the case of structures near the sea, also of sand and salt.
Coming then to the types of lamps that can be installed in spaces such as bathrooms, saunas or other humid environments, they are above all spotlights that can be built into plasterboard structures and thus create your own perfect environment for a little relaxation, also playing with the light of course, which can be warm or white, and which, thanks to the dimmer , can be more or less powerful, you choose.
