Latest generation 4K over IP HDMI extender transmitter which, thanks to hdmi 2.0 technology, transmits the 4K signal at 18gbps over the LAN network.
This new model is the most versatile as it can work in different configurations:
- point-to-point connections (max distance 100mt)
- point-to -multi-point connections on LAN via Gigabit IGMP switch
- multi-point connections - multi-point on the LAN network via Gigabit IGMP switch
- videowall mode (max 8 x 16)
The kit includes only the transmitter , one or more receiver modules must be purchased according to the type of connection (point - point, point - multi point etc.)
HDMI 4K over IP extender transmitter is designed for extension via optical fiber by adding the relative transceiver modules in the dedicated slot, reaching up to 60,000m of extension.
Unlike some bandwidth consuming video-over-IP solutions, this HDMI over IP kit can scale the resolution of the video signal to 1080p reducing the load on the local network avoiding the hassle of a separate video network.
It is possible to connect a PC to the transmitter via USB cable and connect two different peripherals to the receiver (mouse and keyboard for example), again via USB cable that communicate directly with the PC.
In a point-to-multipoint installation, the HDMI signal can be transmitted to as many displays as desired, using other receivers. For further scalability, up to 99 different kits can be combined to create a multipoint-to-multipoint installation, in which different HDMI source signals can be transmitted to different displays. Mounting hardware and infrared extenders are included for each transmitter and receiver to ensure a tidy and professional installation and hassle-free remote operation.
