Bonus TV: it's time to catch up with the new signal

We talked about the arrival of the new digital terrestrial a few months ago , telling you what changes we will have to take into account to continue watching our favorite channels.

By June 2022, the frequency changes will affect the entire digital terrestrial offer and this change will begin gradually starting next October 15th .

A change due not only to the improvement of the signal, but also to choices concerning the reduction of electromagnetic pollution , since the signal will be transmitted at a lower power.

Not all televisions will resist this change or in any case will not be able to do so without appropriate changes. And this is where the TV Bonus fielded by the Ministry of Economic Development comes into play which provides a bonus of up to € 100 for the purchase of a new TV by scrapping the old one and one no more than € 50, as was communicated in the last months, but of 30 € for the purchase of a decoder that allows the transition of the slightly more obsolete models.
