Yes, the holidays are over and these are the days of the restart.
While waiting for the school to restart , the offices that were closed in August these days reopen their doors and, perhaps not at a very fast pace, they resume if not all of their activities.
The calm of these days could be a good time to do those things that are not done during the year, which refer to moments of tranquility.
What we suggest is a small check on everything that could be useful to you.
BULBS
It sounds trivial, but check that all the bulbs in the office are working properly. In any case, we suggest you take a small stock so as not to be caught unprepared when one of your lamps should burn out.
THE WORK PLAN
Take care not only that everything is in order, but that it is also well lit. The lighting problems of your workstation can be easily solved in the meantime by removing the piles and piles of documents stacked during the year, or by making a small change of position of your desk in the direction of natural light. Finally, we remind you that a lamp on the work surface, or a well placed LED light strip, can solve your problem.
USB CABLES
USB cables are never enough and are not found just in time of need, check that you have the correct ones, get rid of those that no longer work and always keep one in the drawer.
SLIPPERS AND ADAPTERS
Take a look at your electrical outlets and make sure there aren't too many appliances plugged into a single adapter in each one. Power strips can solve your problems and those with on and off switches allow you to switch off everything at the end of the day and avoid unnecessary stand-by consumption.
RECYCLING
The electrical material that is no longer working should not be thrown into the unsorted bin, but given to the collection centers, for this reason we suggest you prepare a bin in which, during the year, you and your colleagues can collect everything that no longer works. At the first opportunity you can throw everything together, starting with burnt out bulbs. For the latter, we remind you that here in via Piave we take charge of them to then take care of the correct disposal.
