Before deciding what type of dimmer to use and then buy, it is good to make sure that the lamps are dimmable , you must also remember that not all dimmers are good with all lamps, for LED ones in fact there are specific ones that may not work. good for halogen and vice versa.
Another factor to consider is that of the voltage of the lamps, to understand what type of load they can support and how the lamps can act, the load in fact changes depending on whether it is LED or halogen lamps.
This type of dimmer should be used on lamps that do not already have a regulator integrated.
